Equally steep and almost as unscalable as the fearsome north face of the Eiger are the exciting and stimulating performances by the artists in “Face Nord”. In some sort of boxing ring, they create delicate human sculptures and pyramids, and fight against gravity; they explore and push their physical boundaries, challenge each other to duels, are both partner and adversary at the same time. It’s a powerful convergence of masculinity and vulnerability which continues to enthral and impress spectators of all ages with a surprisingly comic touch.
