above under inbetween

Cie. Willi Dorner | Austria

With his work “above under inbetween”, Austrian urban interventionist Willi Dorner choreographs private pieces of furniture and performers in public space: seven performers jump over sofas, slide over tabletops and leap head over cabinets and chests of drawers. They explore the limit between private and public and open new visions of everyday and private objects to the spectator, inviting us to explore our surroundings anew. Pieces of furniture and people fall along the street, bodies tumble across chairs, tables and cabinets as if they were dominos.
